THE ARTIST

I was born in 1950. In the 70's I study in the "École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris". After the diploma and a period of personal research I begin my professional career as a painter, sculptor and lithographer in the 80s. Individual mainly exhibitions and special orders are the main part of my professional activity. In the public sector, besides others I design and create the badges, medals and trophies for the International and Pan-European Athleticts Games for Students held in France in 1992 and 2002 respectively.

ABOUT MY TECHNIQUE AND MATERIALS

The acrylic paints Utrecht and the supplementary acrylic Lascaux products are the main professional materials of my work. I sometimes combine bee wax with acrylic varnish and if needed  I use gold leaves, they will be pure gold. I draw almost exclusively on coarse linen cloth (canvas), stretched and stuck on contreplaqué marine 6mm enhanced on the back with a wooden frame (photos 1 - 2 - 3 - 4). More rarely, I draw directly on a special thick paper.

My custom made works of art consist a special part of my work. In such cases, a draft on my part, while respecting the unique nature of the request, may be the basis for an agreement for the implementation of the project (some are delivered in photos.)

The publication of this album in 2010, aims to make my work known to a wider audience. With ten coloured reproductions selected among my projects, it is presented as an unbinded art book, in large size (34 x 45) affordable to everyone (€60  shipping costs included).
